Description:
The cone receptacle of the tapping apparatus is accommodated in the spindle sleeve of a pillar drilling machine. The pillar drilling machine only has to have one direction of rotation (clockwise).
The tap is clamped with the help of a clamping chuck.
Due to the internal gear of the tapping attachment, it initially runs in the left-hand direction when idling. When the tap touches the workpiece, the direction of rotation is reversed by an internal clutch. The thread is cut. A length compensation in the tapping attachment ensures that the thread is cut evenly according to its thread pitch.
If the sleeve of the pillar drilling machine is now pressed upwards again, the direction of rotation is automatically reversed and the tap is turned out of the drill hole.
In addition, the torque can be adjusted according to the thread size via a torque adjustment.
