Thread cutting aid for exact hand thread cutting.
The centre point is clamped with its 12 mm cylindrical shank in the drill chuck of a pillar drill.
The hardened tapered tip is placed in the centring hole for guidance. Due to the built-in pressure spring, the tap remains pre-tensioned and at the same time a length compensation takes place during thread cutting.
The thread can now be cut by hand with the help of a tap wrench. At the same time, the drill sleeve is guided downwards with slight pressure. By guiding the centre point, the thread is cut exactly at 90° to the workpiece.
