Universal lathe with 300 mm centre width and 90 mm centre height.
The EDM 300 DS is specially designed for longitudinal and face turning of round or regularly shaped 3-, 6- or 12-edged workpieces made of metal, plastic or similar materials.
The hollow work spindle also allows longer workpieces with a max. diameter of 16 mm to be clamped.
The lead screw and the change gear set supplied with the machine allow metric threads to be turned.
In addition, tools for drilling, reaming, countersinking and centring the workpieces can be clamped with the aid of a drill chuck clamped in the tailstock.
The speed control was specially developed for the EDM 300 DS. The advantages of this control are particularly noticeable in the lower speed ranges with a high torque.
