Bench drill with VARIO drive for infinitely variable speed adjustment without electronics.
The result of extensive recent development work is a bench drill that does not shy away from any comparison with far more expensive devices.
- stepless Vario drive
- high concentricity (<0.02 mm)
- quiet and vibration-free operation
- LED illuminated bright working field
- precision bearing mounted main spindle
- high torque in all speed ranges
- current guide in the column
- tool holder MK2, B16
- integrated dividing head
The RB18 Vario with infinitely variable speed adjustment was developed by Rotwerk in Germany.
In addition to safety, drilling performance and user-friendliness, a really convincing price/performance ratio was at the top of the list, which does not shy away from any comparison with far more expensive devices...
In terms of safety, the RB18 Vario is the first bench drill with a power guide in the column and a cable rewind in the machine base.
This is the first time that the requirements for more safety in handling the supply voltage and for tidiness at the workplace have been effectively implemented.
Another important contribution to safety are the operating keys with emergency stop on the front panel. But the clever arrangement of all other operating elements also makes its contribution to safe and comfortable working.
What should interest you most as a user, however, is the machine's drilling performance. The infinitely variable Vario drive was designed by us together with one of the leading drive technology companies in Germany. It offers all the advantages of this type of drive with an additional performance plus and an increased service life of the drive belts. The specially shaped housing flanks allow increased air circulation and thus cooling of the drive belts with a longer service life.
The result is a powerful machine that marches almost effortlessly with large drilling diameters in steel.
But that's not all, the RB18 Vario is the first machine of its kind with a machine head made of die-cast aluminum. Only this made many innovations possible. A decisive factor here is also the significant reduction in weight. This is a not inconsiderable advantage both for the user and for the ecological balance sheet.
The powder-coated surface of the machine head underlines the high quality of the machine.
