Key-type drill chuck - precision design
High-quality toothed drill chuck with drill chuck key (DIN 6349) in heavy industrial design.
The drill chuck ensures safe clamping of cylindrical tools even at high working forces with high concentricity.
Range of application: stationary drilling, turning and milling machines. Ideal for daily, professional use in manufacturing and workshop.
Appropriate taper mandrel to accommodate the drill chuck in the machine tool is required .
- Clamping range mm: 1.0 - 10 mm
- receptacle: B12
- Diameter D: 43.3 mm
- overall length L: 69,7 mm
- Length L1: 54 mm
- Incl. drill chuck key
- Rotwerk item no.: 80134
Note: to accommodate the drill chuck in the machine tool, an additional taper arbor is usually required. The machine tool usually has a Morse taper receptacle (MK), for example MK2 - this Morse taper (MK) is inserted into the receptacle of the machine tool (e.g. drilling quill, Reistock quill of the lathe or milling spindle of the milling machine) - the entrainment takes place here by pure frictional connection - i.e. the taper connection is sufficient for the transmission of the torque.
The drill chuck itself is connected to the taper mandrel with a so-called short taper (B-taper).
When ordering the correct taper arbor, you only need to know the mounting of your machine tool (MK) and the mounting of the drill chuck (B). For example, if your machine tool has an MK2 taper mount - you will need a taper arbor for this drill chuck: MK2/B10.
